Olympia Steel Buildings' manufacturing facility is one of the most sophisticated factories in the steel building industry. Drafting and Detailing

Our engineers and draftsmen use an advanced CAD-CAM program that was created exclusively for the steel building manufacturing industry. The blueprint drawings created with these programs are certified and stamped for every state in America, including Hawaii and Alaska. Snow load requirements and local building codes will be met and your final construction drawings will be accurate enough to pour concrete from.

CNC Technology

Our high quality steel frames are created using Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) technology. The machines are operated with streams of digital information from the CAD-CAM system that move the motors and other positioning mechanisms in order to cut, roll form and per-punch bolt holes in steel components. The factory is completely automated with CNC technology allowing us to manufacture superior steel building components in less time and pass substantial savings on to you.

Girt and Purlin Production

Girts and purlins hold the sidewalls and roof sheeting for your steel building. These components are galvanized with a zinc coating which seals the surface of the steel to prevent rust and corrosion. This treatment is standard on every steel building we sell with no extra cost.

Welding Department

We hire certified welders and use the latest gas metal arc welding (GMWA) technology. We also have an advanced twin-arc submerged welding system that is able to manufacture structural steel components up to 72 inches deep. This allows us to produce the 200 feet width span that we can offer to our customers. All welded parts must adhere to strict quality control requirements.

Trim Department

Most steel building manufacturers bend building eaves and trim by hand resulting in poor quality and substandard workmanship. The trim department utilizes ten specialized roll forming machines. Whereas, many competing steel building manufacturers buy their gutters and downspouts from many suppliers, we work solely with one factory which has the machines and technology to construct gutters and downspouts. Therefore, we do not increase the price of our buildings to cover the costs of paying many suppliers. This results in additional savings for you.
